Sharing his excitement on Instagram, Mr. Harding posted captivating pictures of the submersible and himself signing a flag for the Titanic mission. He revealed that their journey commenced from St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada, on Friday, and they planned to commence dive operations at approximately 4 a.m. on Sunday.
Despite the challenging winter conditions in Newfoundland this year, Mr. Harding expressed optimism as a favorable weather window had just opened up.
Shahzada Dawood And Sulemon Dawood
According to a statement from Engro Corporation, a British businessman named Shahzada Dawood and his son, Suleman, are among the individuals on the missing submersible. Mr. Dawood holds the position of vice chairman at Engro Corporation and comes from one of Pakistan's wealthiest families. He has a background in textile and fertilizer manufacturing.The statement mentioned that Mr. Dawood and his son were on a journey to explore the remains of the Titanic when communication with the submersible was lost. The Engro Corporation requested prayers for their safe return and privacy for the family during this challenging time.
In addition to his business ventures, Mr. Dawood is also involved with the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence Institute, serving on its board of trustees. The organization's website states that he resides in Britain and is a father of two children.
